If it cranks but, no start, it could be starter relay switch in back by battery (behind sidebl panel).

I second the possible vacuum leaks. Use the carburetor cleaner spray test method to help rule in or out.

Does it have an individual throttle body? If It does, you will need two people. One to punch the gas and another to make sure the rod opens the plate. Just repaired M3 with an all else failed tactic...

I used on the rear, power stop evolution sport, carbon fiber/ceramic, (part # z23-919b) from Amazon on my 2009 E70, 4.8i. Very little dust and work great.
