So who's going to be the first to dyno?

I'd be very curious to see what the ///XMs are actually putting out. I have a tough time believing a 0-60 time of 4.0 seconds, given the weight of these vehicle.
I'd only be too happy to learn that BMW is under-rating our engines :D

The first time you properly execute the launch control, you'll be closer to believing the physics defying times that C&D posted. :)

4.0 or 4.3, it leaps off the line in impressive fashion

OH, mannnnnnn, I can so NOT wait... LOL.

Break in, and winter, both suck shwanger, hahaha....

We will have our X5M on the dyno in a couple weeks. As I mentioned in another thread, just waiting to get a few more miles on the car first.

Will post the base numbers here first for all to see.

That was easy..........

Anyone want to guess what the Hp will be at the wheels?

395-400 AWHP.

edit:

With SAE Correction.

MB PERF 12-02-2009 12:48 PM

Just FYI.........

When we dynoed our 997 911Turbo it came out with 393 Hp and 458 ftlb at the wheels compared to the advertised crank numbers of 480 hp / 505ft lbs.

Predict away............ we will have the numbers in a couple weeks.

444 to the wheels. That's 20% drive train loss. In an AWD, that's reasonable, isn't it?

***Secretly hoping for about 460-470***
