That is amazing. My brother was shopping around for one, and we never saw one for under $50k

Back in early '06 I was either told the Jeep SRT8 didn't exist or CA Bay Area dealerships wanted a 10-15k market adjustment on a 39.5k truck. Thankfully a friend in Baton Rouge told me about a local dealership with a Silver on in stock asking under MSRP. Within 48hrs I had the paperwork completed and the truck in transport to CA on a friends enclosed race car rig.

Almost 5 years later the SRT8 has 42k miles, X5M tires ($850), lowering springs ($350), sway-bar links ($150), custom air intake ($50), Mopar/Corsa exhaust ($900) and Diablo reflash ($350). $39.5k+$2,650 in parts = similar acceleration performance to my X5M and similar handling to my 4.8is and 4.6is. Obviously I like the X5M better, however, you can't deny the smile the SRT8 puts on your face for not only the amazing performance, but also for the ridiculous bang-for-the-buck.

You can't deny that.

I fixed your post for you :nanana:
