Yes..285/30/22 and 335/25/22...I think it was about a year ago (turned vehicle in) but he put a new set on just before he sold the wheels.

i noticed the link doesn't work, hopefully they are still in business, but he had the same issues in that he could not find the tires anywhere. Try calling and see...

A little research today on parts needed (or probably not needed) for the conversion to LED headlights.

The headlight washer units: (the two differences, minor (a slightly different alignment pin/notch) and the "major" is the height and design of the actual nozzle unit...the spray pattern will be different (but not sure how) between the Xenon and the LEDs)

LED is the shorter (and sharper edged) nozzle

The different alignment notches/pin...whatever you want to call it

EVERYTHING ELSE WAS IDENTICAL....So, money could be saved by not buying these???

I will give more details once I perform the actual install

I started running the wiring harness today while I have all the underhood panels removed to install the DPs

Did you get your retrofit kit from ebay?
There was one on ebay (the seller also posted on the xbimmers.com as well) and gone.

no sir, I have been collecting the various parts since January.

I bought the light units and the LED control modules in January

then found a reliable source (two actually) for the harness needed from Germany (not avail here in N. America)...I am willing to assist source more if this keeps going

And today I picked up (and compared to new regular X5M) nozzles...thus the pics

$4k for everything is a great price

Just in case, if you have retrofit harness (part in diagram: A), can you let me know the part #?
Looks like we can get the rest of parts in any dealership but the harness is the one tricky to get.

BMW part number 61122312375

Not avail through US/CAN dealer parts network...at least not up until last month.

If others want or need this harness I can likely help (or just get it for you) you to procure the harness. I have no desire to make money - just pay whatever it costs to buy the part in the EU (or Russia), shipping to the US...paypal/CC fees...and then (if needed) shipping to you

I had two - I sold one to another member of this forum about two weeks ago.

It cost roughly $175 shipped to him (after all costs) in Canada.
If you take out paypal and additional shipping costs - you should be able to get the cable for
69€ cable + 42€ shipping to US = 111,00€

That makes the harness about $150 USD plus in my case paypal 3% and I gave the guy a thank you gift of about $15 to say thanks - even though he is a internet "friend" in Belguim (from my E46 world)
