DME somehow got water in it and this caused the failure of all the systems.

damn... that's bad news. hope they're reasonable on this...

ps. did you leave ess or installed your oem back before the visit?

I couldn't comm with dme - so it had the ess tune on it...I hear the dme is so wet and dead they will likely never know.

the claim they submitted to BMWUSA didn't mention my additional wiring or the missing covers in the engine bay...they said they have no reason not to tell BMW since they were the ones that told me I could leave those covers off due to the high heat and melting/breaking...they have already replaced all under hood covers and plastic based walls and dividers

I am assuming I will lose all my coding so far, like trailer package, DVD changer, remote close rear door, remote fold side mirrors, etcccccccccc
