Thanks JLevi, UcrewX5 and drex. I just got done installing my AEs they look awesome. I couldnt locate the WDS and or the ECU. For now I removed the high beam lights and connected to the high beam plugs, with this I have to turn the beam on. Anyone has pictures or a way to locate the WDS? The high beam lite on the cluster is starting to get to me. Also my PDC is going nuts!

open up the hood, go to the far left/passenger side of the windshield...you should see a box
but you cannot open it up yet because you have to remove the plastic "rain guide(?)" to get to the ECU...

How did you clear out the headlights? Did you just take the plastic amber piece off or get a whole new set of headlights?

BMWERKEN, I think I know the answer to this question, but I'll ask anyway - I don't have xenons, can I still install AE's?

You can, but you might need to special order them. The xenon version will not fit your halogen low beams. The size of the rings on the xenon is different than the size of the halogen low beam. Contact Jlevi. They will get you the right size.

I did take the amber piece out. You have to be careful because there is a silver piece of plastic that holds it in place. If you are not careful you can crack the front of your headlight. There are also 5 screws around the perimeter of the headlight that you must remove to get at the waffles.

Really? The top of the page says "Predator ThinLine X3 (Xenon Only)"!!!

Can it be fitted onto the X3 with Halogen? I would buy order it rid the way if it does!!! (as soon as I find a way to bake the headlights, I don't have an oven!)
