I got it through the Romanian dude about 18 months ago. He had a easy install package with the required cable for $35 to your door via eBay.

I was re-installing the package on a new machine. I believe the particular instance I am running goes though 2008.

I am trying to re-install the Romanian software into my computer again(deleted everything to clean it up) I bough the package and the cable in 2013. I am getting the registration window once a click on "install software". Did you have to contact the dude again to get the registration code?

I did. I bought it from a guy with the screen name "bmwfanatiq" - I contacted him via eBay and he generated a new key for me within a number of hours!

What's the problem exactly? How far are you getting? Are you trying to build it yourself or did you get a suite of software from a 3rd party?

Without some context it's like saying - Help my X5 is broken. Can someone give me a step-by-step to fix it?!
