Thank you for that, Neil! Very helpful getting that visual going forward.

I ordered the GA6166X over the weekend. Anyone have a recommendation for a Bluetooth OBD2 reader that works well with it? I'd like to get something reasonably discreet that can be installed full-time.

Scroll to the bottom of the page under the "Bluetooth" header next to OBD-2. https://www.eonon.com/Android-Car-GP...S/GA6166X.html |

I haven't mapped out the install yet but I am impressed with the packaging and thoroughness. TThe unit has a great feel in my hands, very OEM look and a solid out-of-box-experience. My only gripe is Eonon now has a large and rather obnoxious logo on the bevel, just below the screen. I'll need to figure out a way to sand that offf without ruining the finish to keep the OEM feel. |
Shipping and Screen Type

Quick question about the screen - is it a glass high gloss screen or is it a subdued computer type screen? I'm trying to determine if there will be a lot of glare on a bright day. It won't really make a difference on my decision to purchase because it's the only really good option it seems. Thanks! |
No shipping fees, no customs, no sales tax. Total travel time was seven days including a weekend - Hong Kong to Taipei to Tokyo to Anchorage to Memphis (WTF?) to Seattle.
I haven't peeled the screen protector off yet so I'm not sure if it's glass, but I doubt it. It's a matte screen and while I haven't used it yet nothing I'm seeing leaves me worried about glare. |
