Yes she doesn't pass 105c when it's really hot and today was 50c.

On the plus side my lights etc all started working after sitting for 10 hours in the sun [emoji274] [emoji28]

Below is a pic of startup coolant temp after those 10 hours [emoji848]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e739f37212.jpg

Heck, my coolant rarely even gets to 93Deg.C when I'm running hard!

To be fair the 93c was after about 1 minute but the 62c was from a straight up "cold" start....

Guessing mine needs some work. I hooked my Bluetooth dongle to read temps. For driving around town, it went anywhere between 90C and 96C. Outside temp was as high as 40C. It would reach 96C at stops and lights. It would take a good distance to bring it back to 90C. With a coolant refresh coming up soon, a Stewart high flow pump is looking like a good upgrade.

If I just let it idle for 15 minutes after driving for an hour, she'll be at 88c-93c depending on air temperature and sun/shade.

I still wonder if the "Gulf" edition has some special temperature map. [emoji848][emoji848]

:flame:

Are you running an OEM aux fan? Mine is a brushless replacement. My concern is the temp swing between 90C and 96C. The instrument needle doesn't move at all! By the time it does move, it's going to be bad. Plus, with these hot days, I smell an odor. Like oil or burning plastic. It's not leaking oil. I'm curious that I smell the odor only on these extreme hot days.

Which air circulation light should be on anyway? Left or right. :dunno:

I'm straight stock on fan and thermostat.
I start on right and switch to left once it starts cooling down.

Here are pics from today's drive.
Shutdown @0500, restart @1545

45 minutes @120kph

Was parked in partial shade, high temp was only 45c

Lowest values are restart and highest was during drive, current is after 30kph drive on compound for 1km and shutdown. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...91732684ed.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...05ea4c9b8c.jpg
