EDIT - Meant to quote Post #8 but strangely it wouldn't let me... dunno.
Optimistically..(but Clockwork is probably right), I had my passenger side mirror start hanging up on me a handful of years ago and I thought I was screwed. When I finally broke down and inspected the mirror I found that even the slightest little bit of pressure on the mirror made it work perfectly - so I washed the mirror and surrounding area with HOT soapy water and sprayed a little bit of deep creep around the two moving pieces of the mirror body and I haven't had a single problem since and that was literally years ago, only thing I can figure was something gummy had gotten in there and "stuck" it up :dunno: But I'd try that before I took my mirror apart for sure  |
Check the Senor the grease gets on it then doesent know where to dip ecta there wire up on DIY fixed worked for mine and when put into reverse works now . take time when removing the mirror it self . then i clean the contacts ecta re grease put back together and mine dips again.

Rockauto has single mirrors for $189 each or $377 for both.

I find the “dip” function to be “fragile”... mine works but it never seems to be the same twice. I’m a huge fan of Andrews fix (I think it was), I just use memory 3 and set the mirrors exactly where I want them and get the very same thing every time I press it [emoji106]
