get the replica 20s. i didn't notice any additional 'drag' once i put them on and you definitely get a better feel (I also recommend the Toyos; i'm from the mid-atlantic too and plan to use them year-round).

I thought that all 4.4s come with titanium grills; if that's the case, you may want to re-consider that mod.

The prelude was awesome. I did so much to that car (Iceman air intake, dc sport headers, HKS exhaust, MSI ignition/coils, etc. It had black leather interior, oversized toyo FZ-4 tires....my first toyo purchase! Loved them then and love them now.

PapX5, i was given that price from Creviar BMW. Vaheh is awesome and he himself owns a M3 and know a great deal about BMW parts in general.
My local BMW shop comes close to matching the price but I have to pay sales tax. I have ordered all my parts from either Creviar or my local BMW dealer in NJ.

I cant wait to get that Tri color stiched M5 wheel on the X!

Coming from Porsche's I think the modding on the X5 is not cheap but almost reasonable. For example On a bone stock 3.0 X5 You can leave it pretty Sweet. Check out these numbers:=

Titanium kidney grills, rearview mirror rings and tailgait strip =$200
4.6 front bumper add on, rear bumper add on, and 2 covers =680 (with BMW Car CLub 15% discount) plus about 200 for paint, and 100 for install (unless you do it yourself)
20' 4.6 replica wheels and tires mounted= about $2000

So figure you get a bone stock 3.0 you put $3100 and you have a sick looking truck, all you would then need would be to put clear lights and that X5 would get attention anywhere it goes. If you really go all out you throw in either some 4.4 tips or retrofit some 4.6is tips and your ride is out of hand

On a Cayenne on the other hand 3100 will not even get you stock 20" rims
