oh i thought this was a new post too until i saw it was posted in april , but yeah the x5 is a completely different car and those problems are problems that shouldve been fixed right away and maybe its just the dealer giving you a hard time, try a diff dealer to fix ur problems, or maybe its ur X , maybe you got a bad x because it was the first ones in production or maybe the TAhoe for you is the best way to go, go trade it in and buy a Tahoe on the spot i think the x5 prob still has the value to buy a TAHOE, you prob wont even be putting in any extra cash. gd luck .

I got a X5 and no problems here....but it has only 500mls on it right now..I love the ride, handels like a sport sedan! I have the sport package on it and cornering is amazing...but when I was researching the X5, I found a lot of negative remarks about the older models...this made me lease a new one instead of buying an older one...glad I did, since the new X5 is due end of this year....next will be a cayenne or Landrover sport.....
