Thats exactly my point. The money factors are different now than in 2006. They are lower. So you should be able to get an even better deal than i did.

Dinan you still ordering an 06 with all the pics out of the replacement ?

July

The best lease deals are normally in July.

Last year the residual was the same for 39 mth lease as 36. and they reduced the money factor.

yea. Im 99% sure that i am still getting an 06. But nothing is ever for sure so you never know. By the way did i here you are getting rid of your X5 already. You barely had it a couple of months. What happened?

Wouldn't viper have gotten a much better deal if he just sold his car rather than rolling the negative equity into a lease? I am thinking of doing a two year lease on an 06...I own my 04 outright...it makes more sense to sell it outside of the dealer, right?

Buying 06, it might make sense to trade and save sales tax...yes?/no?

Two other things...this has been a very informative thread and Michelle's avatar is a huge .

I am trying to sell my 02 911 TT and get the new 997 TT, if I do I cant really justify the X as well and would downgrade back to a cherokee if i can swing the 997 TT but it doesn't seem like it is working out, but like you say - you never know!

2006 (5/2006 production) with every single option, except the slide-out cargo floor, with special Imola Red paint ($2,500 premium)...3.0...6 speed manual for $670/month (includes tax) with $2k down. I believe the sticker was $61,XXX
