Weasel, Thank you for your patience w/ me and my pm's.
I took my truck to Zims auto here in Bedford,TX. Still waiting for my call back.

My issue: I went to start the truck and got the error msg. Drove fine, went out for lunch and it was sitting on the tires in the rear. (I dont know how those mini truck guys can stand that bouncing around )
Nothing to indicate an issue prior. Checked the fuse and still good as well.
Wish me luck:thumbup:

Where can I buy the airbags online ?
Please help me !!!

How do you know they are blown ? Do you see cuts ? if they are flat , it does not mean they are blown . If one of the sensors (even rear) is bad , it will make bags flat .

The left one has a hole in it and the right one is just moment's a way from breaking :(
Do you guys know where the fuse is for the airpump, is it in the glovedepartment?

You need a scanner such as GT1.
I can sell you diagnostic tool . You will be able to read , reset all computers on your X5 and do alot more , but only if you are technically inclined .
I would have to look in diagrams to give you fuse lacations.
PM me , I am not often on this forum .

The front shocks aren't that expensive! I got mine for $750/each. My buddy threw it on for me for $50 and it took care of the issue.

the price here in Iceland is ca.$1855 each :(

I just got this error yesterday. It was on all day. I think I know whatmay have caused it. Went to costco, and I dropped a case of water in the back. Maybe that broke something? In any event, how likely is it that the error will self correct itself? I don't want to drop $5k on the car.

I would hope not.

From what I've seen, the rear self leveling suspension could be anything --fuses, the leveling sensors, etc. I managed to squeeze mine in under warranty, they checked for 'pinched air hoses and water in the spare tire well'. Ended up getting a new compressor for it, haven't seen the warning since then.

How much was the compressor installed?

Ya if a case of water broke it, I'd be mighty peeved! At least if it was a case of beer, I could get some enjoyment out of the process. :(
