Sorry for no pictures...I'm in the process of moving (half way across the country!), but I think you will be disappointed by them. The only thing that gives away this is a non-stock X5 are the stainless exhaust tips. I could post pics of the engine compartment if that is what you-all are interested in... Currently the vehicle is in storage at our farm in Illinois.

Should have gotten a 4.6is then I could have had a Super Charger!

Bolts up just fine

I think the SC will bolt up fine anyway... 4.6 or 4.8... In fact, I've been looking for a 4.8 to turn into a stroker motor and drop in when the 4.6 gives up. :D

Do you have the Dinan SC? I have always wondered if it could get installed. But getting the engine tuned for the SC would be the hard part.

Curious to know what the data was on 0-60 and 1/4 mile with the 4.6iS SC. Before i went Dinan S2 on my previous 4.6iS, pre-trailer hitch and front under-ride guard...i ran 6.3s 0-60 and 15 flat 1/4 mile. Only had CAI at the time. After more track training, im convinced i could pull better numbers.
Can you share the results from your track runs?

That's exactly the problem, is the tuning. If you can find the tuner, get the S/C kit from someone like www.vfengineering.com since it's all the same parts and they've made kits for the M62TU for a few years now. I've seen a local shop here in Boise install a turbo kit on an E34 540i w/ an M62TU swaped in, then piggy backed the ECU using a Unichip setup. Their setup for the turbo and tuning was 8k OTD, but they've since gone out of business, economy blah blah blah as usual. This same shop did an LSx swap into a 3 series wagon, pretty sick.
