Cam sensor

I went to Azone and used the OBD tool. I pulled a sensor code. Went to BMW/Fairfax to get the new sensor. Replaced it and the SES light went out. Great.. But last night i get in and guess what. The damn light is on. Do i need to clear the code now? Also, my airbag light is on from when i unplugged it. Can i clear that somehow at AZone?

Did you replace the correct sensor?
AB light - Buy a Peake AB reset tool.

Post the code and the sensor and someone might be able to help you.

P0348.
Camshaft positioning sensor. Bank 2. I was told that is was on the passenger side of the engine. And BMW said both sides are the same part and number.. I dont have the paperwork in front of me.

I'm not familiar with P0348. It's listed as UNKNOWN and I don't have my Bentley manual handy. When I replaced the intake cam sensor on my 330 I reset the code. I would see if the SES is caused by the same code. If it is then you need to reset it.

PO348 Cam Position Sensor A Bank 2, High input. Wiring short to positive, faulty sensor or ECM.

And i changed the Sensor, now the light is back on. Sansor A bank 2, is that the right side of the block? If i did change the right sensor, do i need to just clear the code?

You do need to clear it. I had to clear it last year when a sensor was replaced.
