Plus, they gave me my resonator and it wouldn't be that difficult to reverse the resonator and the straight pipes in case it wouldn't pass the smog test.

I was reading about something regarding emissions for CA and it said that if your exhaust is too loud, that it would not past. I am not sure if this is true. |

That says there isn't a problem with it. But it's only some guys word. I don't think the noise is a problem considering all the exhaust systems out here on trucks and whatnot. |
I live in PA and have the straight pipes not a problem here.
|
It didn't seem like there should be a problem since there are more cars out there that are louder than what I have now.

Sounds real nice....What did it cost and did you notice a big sound change improvement.??:)
|
Like how it sounds, but personaly I would prefer that on a smaller car, not an SAV
Congrats..:) |
Looks nice how much did it run you?
|
It was $80 total. The guy basically charged me for the straight pipes, he said he wouldn't charge me to remove the resonator. I can notice a huge difference in sound. In the morning's when it's cold, there's a low rumble until the engine heats up. After that, when I'm in a low gear it sounds exceptional and if I floor it to get ahead of someone, you can really hear it. Although, there really wasn't a big difference in sound volume inside the car other than the rumble you can feel. It was a great mod for the price in my opinion.

That sounds great how much did it cost?
