wow, that is bizarre. Did it all of the sudden "crack" or did it slowly pull apart? Maybe a very sudden temp change caused wear from using the cd player to suddenly appear....did you have it checked?

Its not under warranty anymore... so I'm beat I guess.

I didn't see it cracking.... I just looked down at some point and saw it.

you know, it definitely is the cold, as just today i noticed both my wood door trims had a big crack in them, my first thought was cold, so jumped on the forum and here we are. My car is still under warranty so i wonder if that would be covered. Any suggestions?
the same thing happened nig line or crack right through, its been cold around -9 to -15 here.

I have a crack in the same exact area

but I have other cracks in other places too.

Isn't the trim sealed? I would think this would prevent water being absorbed, maybe not :dunno:

well my car was off to the dealor today anyways so am going to try and get it done under warranty as now have noticed even my center console trim next to the gear stick had a small crack on it.

btw, it might not be the cold cuz i am in a tropical island and still have those cracks..
