Good to know about the Yokos. Were the the new Advans?

I can't say that I'd endorse the Toyos Proxes. They are very attractively priced but they get pretty noisy. My set has about 20K miles on them and while there is plenty of tread left, they are very noisy. The drone on the freeway and even kind of "whoop" when you're braking. Did you experience excessive noise with them on your Expedition?

I'm waiting to hear more about the Michelin Latitudes.

Winter tires: Vredstein Xtreme 235/65 x 17.

those sound nice but the wheels I have are 255/55 x 18(front and back) and I didnt see any of the Michelin Diamaris fits on mine.. :bawling::bawling:

if you purchase from sam's club...(the equivilent of costco)...you get lifetime complementary tire patchs, alignments, and rotations...not sure about alignments...

If you can find the Diamaris in the right size, I'd recommend those. I have the 19's and love 'em. Great grip, they seem to be wearing as well as can be expected for soft summer skins, and they seem to still be quiet. Have you thought about going to 19's or 20's? If you do that, you'll really notice a significant difference in handling. Let us know what you decide!
