I think you can do better but even if you were just buying the 4.8 (no trade in) you probably won't get in for much below 50K. Here a similar 2005 CPO 4.8 at a local reputable delaership for 55K sticker - 49K or so would seem a good place to end up. http://www.fmwestbmw.com/details.htm...-83l1163105950 There are lots of X5's out there, take your time and maybe look outside your area where the inventory may be greater. What is the in service date - it could be as early as Oct./Nov. '04 - something to bear in mind as it starts the clock on the warranty. On the other hand if you like the car and haggling over a few K is not worth it to you then go ahead and do it. |
yeah doesnt sound like a good deal, look here is a good deal:
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-items...aded-sale.html I even heard that guy would take less then what he is asking. |

Thanks to everyone who responded to this thread.
I took your feedback into consideration and did some more research. Comparable 4.8is X5's in the tri-county area range from 52K - 61K. Long story short, I decided to purchase the 05' 4.8is after the dealer came down to 53K and included the BMW extended maintenance program. I now have perma grin from driving this beautiful BEAST. :D I'll post pics later tonight. |

Congrats,
Can not beat extended warranty and extended maintenance. Beware that perma grin will reduce your gas mileage for its poor aerodinamic characteriscics:welcome: |
Nice buy, man!
