It would not have caught fire lol, my mom's car had the same thing and we had to get a new drivers seat too

U should have a fire extinguisher in your X. I tossed one in mine just in case.

I got a new lower cushion (Leather cover, cushion, heating element) for the same problem. All covered under CPO. :thumbup:
