Was driving home this evening and saw this poor X :wow:

wow...i hope if there were people in the car that they're are okay.

...huh...and you were driving your X next to it...awkward

that's not the smartest way to smoke out the brake lights.

My '05 is in the shop right now, to replace the driver's seat. I had the heated seat on, and noticed that it was much hotter than normal. When I got out of the X, there was a 1/4" hole in the leather. The heater element had burned a hole in the seat.

I wonder if I had kept on driving, if it would have caught me on fire, then the X? Scary.

poor X ... hope the interior occupants were OK

Well now I know what all pieces on my X are made of plastic. :rofl:

Dang!! I thought they would have fixed that issue by the 2005 model year :rolleyes:

hmm you folks down-under must have different specs when it comes to wheels ... after looking closely at the pics I noticed the crispy X5 has a pano roof, which means post April-04 production ... I thought facelifted 3.0's didn't have those rims available anymore?
