I was planning to black out grill and wheels this weekend, but a coolant system problem canceled the proyect for now... I´ll post pictures next week.

before i even saw your pics i was gonna say TI, hands down.
however, i have changed my mind and now say, BLACK!

i have those shoes as well...now i may do a black grill instead of the TI...hmm...

Black means biz'ness, Ti means "I think I'm cute".......

blackbeauty: Trust me: with those wheels, the clear corners, and the blacked-out grilles (and I am guessing, you being a betty), this summer, that X coming down the block will "make the girls jealous, and the boys stop and stare.......

Although on a lighter colored, like a white X, titanium looks better...

I added the black grills on our silver X5. I like the black grills... the chrome/titanium looked out of place -- in my opinion. See attached pics.

I forgot to add...

I ordered the black grills off of ebay. They were good quality - however the factory driver's side grill had a notch cut out of it on the top for the hood opening lever. The aftermarket grills did not have this notch. I had to cut the notch in -- otherwise the hood release did not have adequate travel.

If you miss this step - you will be able to close the hood but not be able to open it unless you stick a tool throught the grill opening to manually release the hood... a PITA.

I learned the hard way. Once the notch was cut -- it works like it should.
