I hear the replacements just pop in. check out the DIY section. There should be something on this. Next would be getting black anodized wheels. Just hope the the parking lot is lit so you can find it.

Heading up your way sometime in May on my way back to Idaho. Dad & brother in NJ, little sis in CT, and 2nd cousin in Poconos on my list to visit. Should be nice up there by then. Will have my other ride as the "beast" goes into storage awaiting a buyer. The beginning of my flight from heat and humidity. The "beast" surprised me by getting almost 19mpg for the entire trip SC/FL/SC. God, I love these cars. I thought running boards were "next"?

the rb's have been sitting in my garage for, oh, say, ALMOST A YEAR!! LOL

let us know maybe the three of us can meet for dinner. i know i'll be in PR either the 2nd week in may or the last weekend...don't know yet. dh has a music festival in dallas the weekend of the 18th, but i ain't going. the next couple of months are crazy for us with traveling. however, not that you care about all that, but if we're in the area maybe we can meet for a nice philly dinner. :)

ETA: 19 mpg...IMPRESSIVE...

Story of my life on this website, schedules that are close but just out of reach (with 2 exceptions, so far). Will check in as the time approaches. Who knows? It may work out and I'd love to meet you and Don for dinner.

The aftermarket grills did not have this notch. I had to cut the notch in -- otherwise the hood release did not have adequate travel.

If you miss this step - you will be able to close the hood but not be able to open it unless you stick a tool throught the grill opening to manually release the hood... a PITA.

I learned the hard way. Once the notch was cut -- it works like it should.

I just got my black grille from EAS and have the same problem - there's no notch for the hood latch. I guess I will have to cut an opening for it, though I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't just pop it in the second I got it. :(
