This is a not-so-select group who has had the pleasure of replacing all four regulators. If you are not yet a member, don't worry, you will be...sooner or later. I hope it's later.

Such a common thing with the X and these window regulators that i'm a not-so-proud member of this 'club'... haha!:dunno:

I just did my 2000 X5 left rear and did a DIY for my own records. Would it be beneficial to post here or no because there is already one?

Dammit, my right rear just went out today, so that's 3 of 4 that I know of.
While I'm on the subject,does any one have a rt rear regulator for sale in the Jersey area? jajajaja
Those things are a real piece of shit. I'm getting fed up.:rant:

I agree, after 77K miles, in my 2002, no problem! Knock on my VERY hard head (sorry, Hockey player), no window problems. These people must be "checking" their windows hard against the glass or something to get the regulators to fail. ;) What's up with the windows problems - mine work perfectly fine after 5+ years!:popcorn:

Mine's an 01 w/84k and now they are failing, give it time, it will happen.

1/4 Rear Driver's side. I have a feeling that my from driver's is on it's way out. When opening and closing the window the operation sounds rough.
