What do you guys think about this one? Can i possibly bring the price down on this one

No, all prices on autotrader are set in stone and completely non-negotiable. ;)

Is that sarcasm or are you being serious? I've never bought a car from autotrader. The last person I spoke with at the dealer said that's the lowest price because they try to lower the prices to get people to come in and look at other cars instead.

That was sarcasm. You would be buying the car from an individual or dealer, not from Autotrader themselves - they are just a listing service.

With gas prices being the way they are right now, you should be able to get a heck of a deal on any SUV.

here is my experience... i also used autotrader when i was looking for my X... the price on autotrader? 32K... the price on the dealers lot? 34,500... the price i paid? 29,900... there is always room for bargaining... those salesmen will always pitch BS at you, so it depend on you if you will believe it... my advise is, visit those dealers so you can see the X personally, and show up there ready... dont be intimidated with what they say... go around so you have more choices... its hard, been there....

good luck... :nanana:

Name your price (be prepared to buy it right then) and walk if they don't take it, period.

So for the second one I posted http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...uel=&cardist=4 how much would you guys offer for it. I know 26,900 is high...so how low should I go without being ridiculous? How much you guys offer for. Please check the link out and tell me if it has good options. I believe it has sport and premium package, xenons.

zerochief 10-11-2007 04:47 PM

You could expect to pay 10-15% less than the asking price ATLEAST!

for good condition kbb.com shows trade in value $24505 and as Private value $26885
I'd offer some in between those 2 values
