93 and ONLY 93. Take care of your X, and it will return the favor. Give it sh&%, and it will also return the favor.

its a bit ironic that an owner can shell out the cash to purchase an X5 but harp on $.03 a gallon savings...

blk133 03-25-2008 10:08 AM

You mean $.03 a mile savings?

:iagree: with check engine light came on.
For those people who try to save on the cost of gas, when they have a check engine light come on, i bet you they will run on here and start asking why there check engine light on.

My mother once told me a story when I was real young, about a guy who went to buy an expensive yacht. After looking over the yacht, picking out the one he wanted, interior and all the accessories, he sits down with the salesman to write up the sale. Just as he is about to sign he asks:

"So how many gallons to the mile does this get?"

Before he could sign the salesman, grabs all the papers and even the pen gets up and leaves saying:

"If you are worried about gas mileage....."

Of course mama made up this story just to make a point.. Which I got then and never forgot....

Even though I am sure there are many types of concerns that might make one worry about gas mileage, however every one of those "concerns" should have been applied when purchasing the X5 in the first place......

Oh yeah, I use 93 all the time. ;)

COME ON PEOPLE........ why in the world are we re-hashing a subject that has been discussed over and over and over again.

Stop complaining about fuel, gas milage, and trying to save a few pennies. You knew (or should have known) when you bought your ride about all of this.

Get a grip and move on............
