Point taken. Maybe use the rear seat pocket for ski's n boards. Probably better though to get wider racks.

Dang it, there are none of the Rola racks for sale on Ebay. Rola sells online via their website, but it looks like they only sell & ship to Australia. A quick google search for U.S. dealers resulted in nothing....

Got to be some other low-profile rack crossbars that would work that we could actually get in the U.S. I bet maybe other manufacturer's OEM rack crossbars would work...Subaru, Nissan, etc as long as the distance between the rails were the same.

Hey bcb1, _AC_ & frencheee,
Maybe contact genemish as he managed to buy some Rola Roof Racks. See his recent thread: My trip to Lake Placid, NY (skiing Whiteface Mt) , first post with great pics.

If you guys have no joy in getting info from genemish or Rola I'm happy to do some ground work for you. With the current exchange rate of US to Aus $ they'll be cheap as chips (er french fries). Just get back to me on this thread, I'll move from there.

Nice one X Foomph  , I've just dropped Genemish a line, if I dont hear back I'll drop you a line back here. Ive no idea why they dont export such a nice looking rack.
