X Foomph I have the same wheels as you and it is recommended to be at 32 psi. That's is what mine are at.

Thanks BMWLOVER,
I was thinking that 40psi was a bit high, it's not like I'm filling it with bricks or other heavy items every other day. I think I might ring a few good tyre shops and get some expert opinions and report back here. TP, I hear you but the X dosen't ride rough, well I don't think so. Might drop it down to 35psi today and go for a run. Foomph |
Toyo Proxies, they were cheaper than the OEM Diamaris, like the way they ride

Hey Twins & BMWLover,
I found BMW recommendations in the manual. You're both right with pressures to be set at 32psi front & rear. 39psi rear when fully loaded. Thanks for the heads up. |

I think that you nead more pressure in your tires, you are geting the same but mutch smaler efect on tires like drag racers, in high speed, do to lack of air tire pops upp in the middle. Usualy if you get uneaven tare on tire, no matter for what reason, it is going to tare that place eaven if you correct alighment, pressure or whatever it was that was taring them. As i said, talk to the expert on your brand of tire, and ask what pressure you should have. |
