BMW Temporary Window Regulator Fix
Had a window regulator fail this weekend and had to purchase the BMW OEM temporary window regulator fix while waiting on my new regulator to arrive. Works great in keeping the window closed to keep rain out of the interior. Install pic:

Is that pressure treated?

Yes, just in case the window leaks a little.
Also preserves it for future failures  |
I feel like my drivers side window regulator is about to go out.. it cracks and pops alot lately.
when you get the window regulator in can you sell me your OEM temp. part please so i can have it standing by, my dealership is sold out |

Mine has been cracking and popping for quite a while now. When I opened up everything the cable that raises and lowers the window was all over the place.

I thought it might be something else (i've had the one loud pop and the windows drop on the 2 rear windows) but my front ones just seem to be slowly dying..i want to change em out now to avoid them going out in the rain.. but I have never taken the door panel off and don't wana mess with it. I was going to ask the dealer how much they charge when I went to check out what they wanted to do for my 100k service. I'm thinking of doing the spark plugs on my own. any idea how much a dealer would charge for regulators? OR anyone going to the meet that wants to do it for a better price than dealers :D |
