It looks really nice! A few questions though before I make a purchase.

1. The seller claims the set has OEM quality build. By comparing with the original light set, how do you feel their quality?

2. Is the halo LED? or CCFL.

3. Is there anyway to avoid the ballasts demage? Open them without baking?

4. Is the ballasts demage the root cause for no rings? If you buy a new set of ballasts, would that resolve the issue?

Thanks.

Answers:

1. Not OEM quality but very good and even more for that price.

2. CCLF.

3. Take them out before baking, they are held in place by 2 clips under the low beam. No opening without baking.

4. If both beams are out then yes. New ballast resolve issue.

Go for it...they look awesome, you won't regret it...I know I don't! :D

I have ordered my 2nd set to replace the first set that has damaged ballasts.

Your questions answered;
1. The Headlight Assembly looks really good for aftermarket. The housing is sturdy and the projectors and lenses are of the same material and thickness, however, the fittings looked and felt like cheaper materials were used. When I took my originals apart, I swapped all the fittings with the new unit. ....one more thing, I felt as if the first set had already been opened (maybe that is why they did not work?) because the tabs didn't line up exactly right; the new set looks perfect.

2. The halos are CCFL....

3. No way to open without baking...

4. I am pretty sure the ballasts are the root of the problem.

I hope this helps!

Hey,
I am here...;)

I still udersided if I should order another pair of these lights. I was looking if someone else selling them on eBay besides "parazitesingl..." but looks like he is the only one available at this time.

I will probably order them later next month ( need some extra $$$)

Just wanted to ask other members here who ordered and hopefully install them soon - PLEASE post your comments and pictures. I am really interested in light pattern at night. My problem is that I wont be able to open my OEM lights to change the HID lense so I want to know if the lense they provide is close to OEM. Let us know. Thanks.

are you asking about the D2S to H7 adapters? I am curious about those too.

There is a seller on eBay with step by step instructions for those..seems like they should work..

m5james 08-26-2009 01:46 AM

Yeah, because I have a set of D2S's sitting in an old set of 7 headlights.
