I just painted my grills silver and saved myself a fortune and it looks exactly the same as OEM.

PERSONALLY i think the skid plate would look better in white but it does look good anyway..........Nice X

My X is Metalic Black which means that the Skid plate will have to be colour coded.

You're not going to see it if you paint it black - titanium silver will be the way to go.

X5 Dawg- when I saw your pics that is when I HAD to get the skid plate and wheels. I could not believe that yours is an 01. It looks like new.

I did not realize your skid plate is white. I just went to the body shop and saw a silver mercedes and told them to use that paint. I thought silver would look best to make it look like aluminum or metal. I did not even think of having it match the paint. Oh well at least it looks ok.
