anyways i been doin a search here but i dont seem to get anywhere. does anyone know a place or a website where u can get an Alternator Replacement at a reasonable price.. i did a search here and its all $390+ and core on top( total of $500+). am sure some of us here got some deals from somewhere. if u guys dont mind can anyone share there info. i would really appreciate it

I feel your pain buddy. Usually when something goes on my X, it happens in twos like yours did. Already been through the brakes and replaced the alternator, ac compressor clutch, 3 window actuators, two axle shafts bco front cv boots and still have a misfire that I've been trying to track down for several thousand miles with no luck. I just recently broke the 60K barrier, wtf.
I did notice that price difference when pricing my altenator replacement between the I-6 and V-8 models and thought holy cow that's high. One of the few times I was glad I had the bottom line motor. Good luck with you situation, hope it doesn't run you too much. |
