Thule Rack Components for Snowboards

I’m trying to figure out what Thule Components I need for carrying 4 snowboards. I have tried going on the Thule website, but it gets pretty overwhelming. I came down to this so far:

*726 - Deluxe Pull Top 6pr Ski Carrier
*450 Crossroad
*Locks cylinders for rack and 450 Crossroad
*Cross bars

Anything else? And the 2 bars that run from front to back on the roof mean that we have a factory rack right?

Thats all you need..............also for cosmetics the 871 Fairing for $55 is nice. The Thule website is very interactive.

It cuts down on the drag, especially when its windy out. And I admit it looks dam good.

Has anyone tried out the 5401 Snowcat from Thule?

Appears to be a pretty good option: slim, compact, and it appears to cost less $$

All I would ever carry would be snowboards and maybe skis.

I currently have the snow cat... it's nice, but I don't think you can fit a spoiler on it. It's great if your only use is for snowboards or skis..

Question about the 871 fairing: Does it touch the paint? I wouldn't want to risk it scuffing the paint on the roof.

By spoiler do you mean the wind deflector that goes in the front? Or do you mean our factory spoliers by the trunk?

I have a Thule luggage carrier, which has more than enough room for 4 snowboards and all the gear that goes with it. Keeping everything inside a carrier like this keeps the road grime from getting into the bindings, keeps road salt off of the edges, and just keeps everything much cleaner in general. Personally, I think it's a better way to go.
