Looking at the back of the business cd player, the pinouts run from top left to bottom right like so:

1 5 9 13
2 6 10 14
3 7 11 15
4 8 12 16

I'm assuming you meant 9, 16, 15 and 12 based on your description.

As I said, I don't remember which specific Changer wires. It is power, the ibus wire, ground & the second power to keep it on beyond 15 minutes. If you look at the wires going into the changer it should be apparent which is which.

That leaves too many possibilities of correct/incorrect connections as I still dont know what I'm connecting these 4 wires to and most importantly in what order...the three pin harness and coax that run to changer (assuming the changer has been removed) and if so, how are those 4 wires connected to said harness and coax?

So using these pics I came up with this and it finally works. Onto the next projects!
