ive had 3 people in the street ask me if i was selling my car and a dodge dealership asked me too my X5 has very rare headlights...i have the umnitza euro headlights and i had this guy saying he loves my car at the car wash when i was too lazy to clean it my self :p: my dad also told me that people ask if we are selling the car..i also love it when im driving down the street and a fellow bimmer flashes his/her lights at me :D

+1 Had a guy make me pull over and give me his number in the event I ever sold it. He told me he'd buy it right then and was basically offering me whatever I wanted for it. I'd never know how serious he was because I didnt take him up on the offer but it felt pretty cool.

But as long as its clean, i'm guaranteed to get questions, thumbs ups and comments about the body kit, does it have the ///M engine, they've never seen a stick X5, did I import it, etc.

These weekly reminders and lack of a car note are the ONLY thing keeping me from going out and trying my luck with the 2011 550i GT which I test drove at the BMW Ultimate Driving Event. WHAT A BEAST!!!

+2 i had a 5 series pull me over and ask me about my angel eyes too bad mine are a kit with the headlight...my angels are led and i love them....and people turn their heads when they here my exhaust ...this guy told me he thought it was a muscle car and i laughed :rofl:

Hardly ever happens. I get WAY more compliments/comments driving my 16 year old e36 325i.

I got a nod from an E92 driver when we were down by the BMW Plant. Besides our mud flaps and red tinted taillights, we would have a boring looking 3.0i.

I've got an Imola Red X5 - it happens to me a lot! Not every day of course, but I get a lot of stares and at least every month or so; someone will come up to me in a parking lot and say "nice car" or something like that.

Sniff...breaks my heart that I'm going to sell her soon! I don't think I've ever owned a car that is quite so sexy. (and I had a '77 Datsun 280Z that was pretty close though!)

Eh, not often when I had the stock exhaust, but now, a lot of people look to see what's making the noise. There are so many 3.0 and 4.4s around here that people never notice mine. I've only had a couple people on the road really notice it.
