Changed the oil and filter today. First time using Amsoil. Purchased the European Specialty oil made for my '03. Took me 10 minutes to reset the service interval indicator.

First Wash!

Not bad for a 12 year old car IMHO...

LITERALLY THAT IS WHAT I SAY EVERY TIME I GIVE MINE AN INSIDE/OUT CLEANING.

Its funny you say that, the E53 has aged so well

Agreed, it's the reason I bought mine at 8 yrs old and 84K miles (in 2010): Condition, Condition, Condition.
An X3 sitting right next to it was in much sorrier shape.

Just washed and waxed!

Just cleaned up the truck, detailed the inside with Mother VLR, wheel cleaner, tire shine and finished with a nice synthetic wax! I also changed out the bulbs on the PIAAs, gonna remove the LED strips and hook up LED off road lights.

Started the Powerflex bushing install, did the FCABs. Used a 5 ton 3 jaw puller to press out OE bushes and press in the new Powerflex. Picked up the hydraulic puller for $70 at HF.

Remove the control arms? We don't need to remove no stinkin' control arms!

nice license plates... here is mine - both pics are taken in CR, one is on the way to Panama, the car is very dirty, and the other one in Jaco, with the PA license plate on the car, before the local plates were issued...
