oil/filter change at 205345km ,first oil change since hydrolock situation. just put any 5w30 oil in her when I lost oil. didn`t know if engine was any good after, so just put some synthetic oil in it that i had laying around in the house. now I used castrol 5w40 full synthetic for bmw . just to let you guys know make sure you use correct oil for bmw if not you will get oil light flicker at idol.I did till I used the proper oil. no more oil light flicker (red)

Drivers window regulator last night in the driveway .Kept getting attacked by June bugs attracted to the light.

TMV, sorry to hear you're selling your E39.

I installed a new factory X5 trailer hitch the weekend (after spray painting it all black with tremclad to avoid any rusting issues).

Also installed the factory Hella battery cut-off switch and

installed rear factory mud flaps to stop the dirt/rocks/snow/ice from getting trapped up in my nice new 4.8iS rearbumper spoiler add on. I had to slightly modify the mud flaps, but nothing anyone will ever notice. and it looks SENSATIONAL on the X5, if I say so my self

It rained & was overcast, the comfort windshield looked purple & the chrome reflection on the garmin nav looked purple also.

did you try polarized sunglasses to look at the windshield?

just replace the headlight level linkage to the sensor, another easy job ,woohoo. next is battery before october.

Don't be, Clockwork. I have 3 of them at home now. I need to sell 2 of them: 03 Dinan 540i MSport and 01 //M5. The newly acquired 2000 Dinan //M5 will be staying to take over DD duty.

I have Maui Jim's, I assume they are polarized, didn't look purple until today.
