Just installed my OEM aux input. I am disappointed in the sound quality though. Everything just sounds off while comparing CD to AUX with the same songs. I tried two different cables and it didn't seem to make a difference. Adjusting the equalizer on both the headunit and the phone helped, but it still sounds like the music is coming through a tunnel. I am charging my iPod to see if that makes any difference from my phone (Oneplus One).

No such problems with my aux .it is not CD quality but is up there if you've got the correct format for your files.compare mp3 to mp3 and see if you get the same results?

I am an idiot.

I was streaming music to my phone at "normal" quality. I thought I had downloaded that album to my phone but I was wrong. Switched to music stored on my phone, as well as my ipod and all sounds good.

Today I put the stock driver's side mirror back onto my X. The mirror is the self-dimming, retracting etc version, but it doesn't retract. It was like that when I bought the X and the seller agreed to fix it. Well, they replaced it, but they just put an anti-glare mirror on there. I didn't like the blue tint, especially because it was different from the passenger side, so I got the original mirror back from them and put that on this morning.

While I had the door panel off I replaced some of the plugs that were missing, tightened down the tweeter cover and secured some cabling. I need to replace the strip of weatherstripping along the bottom of the passenger door, but couldn't find any locally.

Then of course I had to take it out and wash it quick since it's a beautiful sunny day for a drive. Cleaned up the windows and vacuumed it out when I got home.

Today was a good day.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is LSP? :) I had to look up the acronym and came up with “last step product”. If that’s what you mean, I’m using Zymol wax on my cars. For X, I applied Zymol Carbon. I have always been very satisfied with Zymol product line.

What is your LSP of choice?
