Floor Mats

with kids climbing on and off the car, the original carpets didnt stand a chance. Looking to get these

since we have no snow and hardly any rain, do they last long and use the factory tie downs? or do I need to buy em separate?

Thank you!

Thanks! Will get a set. Would I need to buy separate tie downs since our factory ones are velcro?

Thanks again

FYI,
I bought a different model from the dealer. According to the parts manager, this model is supposed to hold more water, we'll see.
They are part #82550151189 and 82550151190 in case you want to check.

Edit: Ouups, just realized that you are in SoCal, and don't have winters :-)
Anyways, if that reference can help others...

It should come with the button clips to hold it down.

I've been using that set for 6 winters now. Very happy with them. Work well and wear beautifully. Never did figure out how to secure them as they don't fit the regular anchor pts. I just throw them over the summer mats.

Glad to hear that they work well.

When I bought them, I got a bag of plastic hanchors to fix them to the floor. From what I see, there are the metal anchors that are fixed to the seat base for the summer mats, and underneath the summer mats, forward of the metal anchors, there are plastic caps in the carpet that are supposed to be removed by unscrewing them, and then insert the new plastic anchors that came with the rubber mats.
I didn't try them yet, but that's what they say in the instruction sheet.

i have the ones you have but in beige and they are great. the back arnt anchored but they do fit but can still move. the front how ever hasn't moved on me yet and they are anchored juts like you said. cleaning them is easy just dust it off and iv let them sit in light bleach water and air dry. keeps the carpet nice and dry and clean. I dont have those metal clips though. do you have any pics?

I'll trade you pics of the regular metal anchors for the summer mats if you (or anybody) can post some pics of how those rubber mats are anchored

I'm trying to see if my dealer can order the anchors separately for me from BMW as I never received them with my rubber mats.
