UCrew, that makes me feel better about my 02 3.0i. no major engine or trans problems and i do regular maintenance like I should. what kind of oil do you use?

165,000 on my 2001 4.4! I bought it with 75k on the odometer back in 2006. I have put 2 water pumps on it and not much else other than maintenance IE tires, brakes, tires, belts, tires, oil changes....

ArNarX5, my car made a grinding noise that was clearly coming from the bell housing and the lower gears shifted in a very rough manner. Eventually it would not go uphill. No Trans Fail Safe message....ever, in all this.

92K on a 2004 3.0i. Runs like a champ - old school maintenance all the way. Front CV boots R/R last year. Hauls everything and is great for long distance trips. Hope to keep it over 200K.

29k original owner miles, mostly highway, on my 04 4.4 (10/03 build). No major issues. Replaced the FSR twice (cheap eBay ones both times, next one will be OEM). Replaced the battery this July but it was probably the 2nd FSR.

01,152k miles so far..new front cv axles, alternator, a couple of crank shaft postiion sensors, new tail lights, battery, fuel pump, tires it needs a rr window regulator and now it looks like its getting a rebuilt transmission or I'm going to part it out I havent quite made up my mind, this thing must have been built on a friday afternoon just before the weekend I'm very disapointed in the quality of this car. However its a blast to drive when it works

'04 3.0i with 120k miles. General maintenance plus thermostat, water pump, belts, cv boots, and spark plugs all around 100k miles. Change oil every 7500 miles using Mobil 1 0w40. Still runs like the day we bought it.
