'06 4.4 clocked 111,111 miles, traded in December for 2015 F15 35i. Tranny fluid changed at 100k, ran smoother after that. Only major repair expense was alternator replacement, broken driver side door handle and rotted windshield upper trim.
Was a very good X5 until i noticed white smoke after idling for some time, then i notice oil leak back of right bank. i figured its a good excuse to get new X5, wife agreed so i got the new one. Now, i miss the roughness and quick acceleration of a e53. |
2005 4.8is with 135000. While I've owned it the following has been done:drivers side cv joint, both washer pumps, door handle and actuator drivers side, power steering was leaking so they replaced the hoses?still leaks from cap. Needs passenger seat belt cause even when in use it shows its not buckled and chimes for a min,gps/radio pixel repairs and shows a 4th to 5th upshift malfunction. Been trying to do a lil research on the Trans problem, thinking if I can locate the solenoid and replace it maybe that will stop that code.

2001 3.0 with just over 130,000. The only thing it has ever needed was avenues line replaced and a cooling fan that cracked.....that's it!!! In the last year alone it had over 30K miles put on it, nothing can kill this baby!!!! :)

2005 3.0i with 151,500.
Panoramic Sunroof just broke, need to find a DIY for it.... |
Just clicked through 95k this week.
Replaced the motor mounts last weekend and will be replacing the front and rear flex discs, as well as the rear center support bearing this weekend (due to a parts mixup, I couldn't get these all done at once...). |
