Haha, that's the best response.

Here's what I was thinking:

This was a typical Texas one-day turnaround business trip yesterday!

I'd like to see a Tesla X do that while keeping the interior at a comfortable 70 degrees. ;)

'03 at 110,000. Its a guess on the exact number because many of the leds are burning out in the dash.

On your dash display issue - are you sure it's not just the backlights? I had that issue, and it's literally a $6 fix to replace all 5 bulbs back there. Maybe 3 screws to undo to get to it. To confirm, you might try shining a bright light on the display to see if the LCD pixels are switching properly.

My '01 3.0i is at 182k. No major repairs so far. PO did CCV system + cooling + transfer case shortly before unloading it on me. Too many door-related fixes to count, but those are pretty minor.

I've owned now for 3 years and about 13k miles - almost all short trips. Had the fuel pump and alternator go in the first year. I've replaced about half the suspension components, as needed. I gave it its first ever ATF drain and fill at 169.4k miles, then again at 169.9k and 172.3k.

Other than those and the multiple infamous door-related issues, the thing runs beautifully. I did not own it when new, but my 182k miler runs as if it is mechanically new.

Think it would fix this?

A bright flash light to the dash had no effect.

Not unusual to lose pixels at 100,000 miles or more. I think the majority of members remove it and send it off for repair.
