As much as I disagree with the no seatbelt thing (I always wear mine), if he doesn't want to wear it, so be it. It's his decision.

Yeah, but nobody is saying it isn't his decision. Everybody is just laughing at the "logic" of wanting to be thrown out of the car while holding a pillow, in the event of an accident, because it is believed to be safer than being belted in, based on an independent survey of Russian You-tube videos.
