So you've got stock BC Racing spring rates and it's still too stiff? I told my buddy to reply on these threads about his results. What about you mentioning your kit being called "extreme drop" vs the setup I bought? Interesting and noted because I'm also going FI at the same time. Guess I should be getting ready for things to pop :D

Yeah, my buddy said he did the same thing and then he's mailing me the links I posted above. Once I get in there to do it, it'll make more sense to me.

Bump, interested in a set of these coilovers. What parts are needed to swap from full air on my 4.8is?

Don't, your better off getting an air management system and installing that to control your stock air bag system something like auto pilot or elevel

If you are just going for looks and lower CG only, yes.

If you want the best handling your X can give, you need adjustability and the ability to set proper corner/cross-weighting.

I don't know how different the 4.8 is, but I retained my SLS by making shorter arms that go from the sensors to the control arms.

Beautiful I need these to get that damn light off! Do you have a DIY post about these?

I actually unplugged the compressor at its (3 wire I believe) connection and left it off during the installation, drove it from Seattle to Hollywood and back for Bimmerfest this way and had no error code.
