Interesting to see the different option lists compared to the UK.

I have a 3.0 sport which comes with 19's, leather sport seats, suspension, wing mirror lights, steering wheel and so forth as standard with the package

When it comes to owning and maintaining a BMW, there is no such thing as OCD. That's considered good judgement!

It certainly cant hurt. Thats how you judge a true enthusiast vs just an owner. PLUS I think as an SUV most people wouldnt go through those efforts as its treated as disposable and generally owners of SUV's are not enthusiasts. I was fortunate, my PO, although not an enthusiast, he kept everything down to the accessories catalogs, the brochure, option sheet he prepared all keys and plastic key too. He had some receipts but all work was done at dealer and they printed me a complete list of every RO. He even bought his tires through the dealer and always the Michelins.

I have all that stuff. I started doing that some years ago after I bought a used Porsche in Vegas without even seeing it. It was 10 years old and only showed just over 4,000 miles, hard to believe if he hadn't had all the documentation. I keep it 10 years and sold it with about 7,000 miles on it. Both the purchase and the sale were well over the 'normal' price.

Wow that option list is pretty short!

As I recall there weren't many options to add. Most of what would be options on other models were included in the 4.6 $68,650 price.

I think there were 2 or 3...Navigation and Retractable Floor in cargo area and rear side air bags.

You are correct. I have navigation, I don't have the other two.
