Hiya people.
I try everything about pairing my phone with the car... Keep pressing the face from armrest for 3 sec, turn the key pos1 keep pressing the face for another 3 sec....and nothing. I dont have any small lights on my left screen, red, yellow or green never. Then i buy INPA, and activate the bluetooth with it, all 3 lights(red, yellow, green) start to flash, try to connect my phone, aske the pass, write it, and connected with the car, but only for 3-4sec, then is disconecting....i connecting again the phone, is connecting again for 3-4secs, then again is disconnecting. Take out the fuse 73 and 74, take out the bluetooth module and take out the plug from it for 2-3min...activate again the bluetooth with Inpa, connect my phone, writing the passkey, conected, and disconecting again after 3-4secs. I try to reset the bluetooth keeping presed the face for 10sec, but no sound(i hear have to make 3 beeps) So, whats wrong with my bluetooth ? I try everything....i miss something ? Please help me!!!! |

Is this BT system the same in all 2005/2006 bmw models? I have a new 06 330ci and was told the BT system can't be upgraded because they don't stock parts. I have a red dot on my bmw business radio. Would love to get the bt working with my old iphone 5. The X I use the mediabridge, it's awesome. Even though my radio MID is disconnected.

The e53 was an old gen BMW still being produced at the time that uses the I-bus to communicate. Some of the new gen BMW models like the e60/e65/e66/e70/e90/e83 that were being produced in 2005-2006 could be using the newer communication bus (like the MOST bus) which is designed to handle the emerging newer technology. For example, you can see the info on the two BT TCU units below...it clearly states on each one which type of commmunication bus it was designed to operate on: |

I had same issue (2004 model), connected my iphone 6s to my cars bt with bmw scanner (there you can delete devices, change car bt name and password) and it connected also for a few seconds. I did a reset with computer few times and thougt that its not working. Then next day I went for a drive and phone connected automatically and even synced my favorites (can see names on radio display and choose numbers from steering wheel). :wow: So all you have to do after connecting is turn off your iginition, maybe even lock down your car and next time you enter and star the car, connection to your phone should be done in few seconds. Just keep your bt activated before you turn on your car. I have bt on all the time, does not consume battery more than usually :p: Hope it helps. |
I try several times mate...tbh without starting the car....
I try with my OnePlus3 phone, with my wife Samsung S7 Edge....and bouth made the same thing...connect, then after 3-4 secs is disconnecting. Yesterday i try with 2 old phones, one Motorola V3i and a Nokia 6310i, and with bouth phones, after i enter the pass key to pair, bouth of them stay connected, and i can see the phonebook on the screen from the car. Soo....whats the dilema??? |
