It's all a problem bluetooth related, after android 4.2 bluetooth protocol of android phones changed, and it's the cause of al these problems. It can be solved modifying bluetooth in your android phone, but it's not an easy task:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...tooth-t3045523 Other option is to replace the ulf module using a gen13 release, but they are quite hard to find, and expensive.... Problem also happens with IOS newer than 6 release, but i've neved had iphones so cant say nothing for sure abot it... |
I see that thread mate, thanks, but i think is to hard and risky...maybe i will ruine my phone 🤣
But i hear some people finish pairing their phone with the car and stay connected... |

It all depends on the phone(android / IOS version), and your ulf module version: https://store.bimmernav.com/blogs/in...mw-ulf-modules For example, i've replaced mine with and 8th gen version, but have tested it has the disconnect problem with android 7 and 8. i've got it to work installing a LineageOS Rom, but of course, it's needed a bit knowledge on mobile flashing.... Another options i've seen while i was looking for a solution, was upgrading your ULF to a gen13, wich is supposed to works with any new phone, adding a dension/yatour or parrot interface, or upgrading with a newer unit, like a dynavin o something like. |
