I don't like how front passenger doesn't go up all the way like the driver's side.

Looks like it's just as tall on the front. They follow the shape of the floor. Driver has a fake pedal on the left and a real pedal on the right.

I never had a problem with too much water/snow with the OEM rubber mats and prefer that they lay flat and don't try to climb the sides.

On a couple occasions I've dumped them out before water got too deep and when enough dirt got on them.

I have a set of e53 OEM somewhere. (From when my e53 was deer retired).

Actually I've found that the gas pedal side is more prone to let melted snow on the mat. That's why I have some newspaper under the rubber mat absorbing moisture. And if it's wet I take the rubber mat out and run the interior heater to dry the fabric.
