Hello Gurjit, it came with 2 cone (bleue and gray) as you discribed and i do not believe that the blue one (oil) was pre oiled. In the package i found 2 bottles, (oil and cleaner) ..so, i've finally oil it and like you let it dry in the laundry :-).....apparently the oil one generate more HP (10hp) here is the kit :

More a question of sound than "style" we all know that the X5 V8 purr like a cat ;) but with AFE stage II that purr is amplified by 10 :rofl:

even with panel filter? doubt it..
well i guess im a little sour that the 01 models don't have the style as they only have panel.

Ok cool. But I have a panel fiter on my 01. The site only has panel filters for my model. That's why im saying.

I see, i was looking on that site for 2001 and there is no kit (meaning same) ....did'nt know that ....you'll find something else i'm sure :) good luck!

Nice work Mr ! The kit for $400 come with 2 cone filters (dry, oil) new connection to the engine, electronic connection, metal box, cleaner , oil, license frame AFE and ...a bunch of AFE stickers :-) fit perfectly (1hrs installation) and look stock....i don't know how long it takes to build and fit the box as you did ? you did very good, but to me, the risk is at the end it looks a bit home made IMO.
